The major highlight of the tour is taking the one-way ferry cruise across the bay, either to or from Sausalito. Your tour guide will accompany you onboard to provide essential historical background to the Bay Area, Angel Island, Alcatraz and Sausalito. You will spend an hour in Sausalito, located on the northern end of the Golden Gate Bridge.
Jump on the ferry to discover where various notorious inmates were incarcerated at Alcatraz, one of San Francisco's most popular attractions. This penitentiary, formally known as "The Rock", is famous for having housed ruthless criminals such as Al Capone (Scarface) and Machine Gun Kelly. You will receive the opportunity to explore this renowned landmark and tour its spooky cell blocks.
